Gold 2016 is Hollywood adventure, drama and thriller movie featuring Bryce Dallas Howard, Matthew McConaughey and Toby Kebbell as the main actors. Stephen Gaghan will sit on the director’s chair and story writers are Patrick Massett and John Zinman. Matthew McConaughey will be seen in the role of Kenny Wells, Bryce Dallas Howard as Kay and Toby Kebbell as Jennings. The story is set in the 80s. Kenny Wells lives in New York and working hard to make enough money to support his family. He tried to convince local business men to invest their money in his plans but no body is serious about him. He gets very angry and upset due to this. He starts selling his wife jewelry and other things to pay his expenses.One day he comes up with an idea, to dig gold in the mines of Indonesia. He travels to Indonesian jungle with one of his partner Michael Acosta. They starts mining for the gold and after hard work for few weeks, they finally found out the gold. Soon he becomes the richest man in the US with the largest gold mine in the world. With the fame comes the problems and he is stuck with many problems from local government,rebels, and FBI. Gold 2016 is based on a true story.
Matthew McConaughey is working on third movie in which he is searching for gold.His last two movies were Sahara (2005) and Fool’s Gold (2008).He also shaved his head to play the role. Stephen Gaghan is directing a movie after the gap of 11 years. His last movie was Syriana (2005). Music is composed by Daniel Pemberton. TWC-Dimension will be distributing the movie at the box offices worldwide. This movie might be the next oscar film for Matthew McConaughey.
